Moby Dick trasmette venerdì 7 febbraio lo speciale-intervista con Peter Hook, storico fondatore di Joy Division e New Order, due band chiave del post punk britannico.
Il leggendario bassista dei New Order e dei Joy Division sta portando in tour i brani storici del suo passato assieme alla nuova band, The Light, e talvolta facendo il dee jay per il mondo con la FAC 51 The Hacienda. Oltre trenta anni di carriera, un sound ultra riconoscibile e due film che hanno raccontato anche la sua storia: “24 Hour Party People” e “Control”. Per non parlare dell’influenza che New Order e Joy Division hanno su schiere di band di oggi come Killers, White Lies, The Enemy, The Chemical Brothers, Editors e Hot Chip.
Il 17 feb. a Milano, il 18 a Roma e il 19 a Roncade Peter Hook & The Light risuoneranno “Movement” e “Power, Corruption & Lies”, primi due album dei New Order ma anche “Slaves of Pleasure”, personale tributo ai Joy Division, suonando i brani più noti della band di Ian Curtis e dello stesso Peter Hook.
